Knowledge of natural hazards among arts and science college students

Abstract: 

The Study was intended to find out the Knowledge of Natural Hazards among the college students at Madurai District, Tamil Nadu, India. Knowledge of Natural Hazards questionnaire was constructed and validated by the investigator (2011), have been administered to a random sample of 1168 college students studying in Arts and Science College. The result revealed that the level of Knowledge of Natural Hazards of the college students is average. The male and female students, rural and urban area students had no significant difference but, arts and science group students, nuclear and joint family students exhibited significant difference in respect of their Knowledge of Natural Hazards.
